On March 16th, the quartet will begin its March US tour. Join us in Berkeley, Palm Beach, Savannah, Philadelphia, Boston and South Bend, IN. Our programs will include works by Beethoven, Haydn, Janacek, Brahms, and Shostakovich.

In addition, we will present a three-concert Brahms project in Vancouver with the three marvelous quartets; violin, viola, cello sonatas; as well as the clarinet quintet, viola quintet Op.111 and Piano quintet. For this project we have invited pianist Inon Barnatan, clarinetist Sharon Kam, and violist Hsin-Yin Huang to join us.

Finally, we will present the final concert in out Shostakovich quartet cycle in Houston. The concert will take place in the extraordinarily beautiful Rothko Chapel. This special setting will undoubtedly highlight Shostakovich's three last quartets, including the final quartet (no. 15), which will be performed in near-complete darkness.
